We painted Spring Hill's adorable panther mascot to adorn their wall! For this project, Principal Briggs wanted the style to be more cartoonish and cute, a stark contrast to the fierce lion we painted for Kent Gardens.

Originally, we presented two designs: one featuring the walking panther and paw prints, and the other with the panther sitting on the pencil (see below). Principal Briggs had a great idea to combine the two designs and have the panther walk on the pencil.

The main struggle we encountered for this mural was the cinder block texture on the wall. We expected this mural to be easier since the design was cartoonish, but the wall's texture made it difficult to get clean, smooth colors. Luckily, we used paint pens this time, which made the outlines much more doable.
